Site Tour

A brief tour of the NERDug website.

Navigation Bar

At the top of all pages is the main Navigation Bar displaying 'Location:'. You can navigate the entire website using the links in this panel.

Location

In the upper lefthand corner, you'll see 'Location:' with a series of one or more hyperlinks. This shows your location on the website at all times. You can choose any link to jump directly to a higher location.

Secured Pages

Any hyperlink followed by the lock icon requires you to login. You login using your email address and a password of your choosing. The first time you login, you merely enter a password twice and you're in. If you forget your password, you can have it emailed to you. Some pages pertaining to the NERDug conference require that you are logged in AND have registered for the conference.

Options

In the upper lefthand corner, you may see 'Options:' with a series of one or more hyperlinks. These are options available from this location on the website. You can choose any link to jump directly to a given option.

My Profile

In the upper righthand corner, you'll see 'My Profile'. This page provides your profile (name, address, phone, etc). We do not share this information with anyone, this is used only for expediting the NERDug registration process and helping to plan for future conferences.

Login/Logout

In the upper righthand corner, you'll see either 'Login' or 'Logout'. This will perform the indicated operation. Note that you only need to be logged in to view certain pages - most pages do not require a login.

Site Map

If you navigate to Site Map (on the Technical menu), you'll see a map of the complete website.
